DR. ASHLEY MARCUS, Au.D.

Dr. Marcus earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, but relocated to New York for her residency at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY. 
 

Dr. Ashley Marcus  became interested in audiology while taking American Sign Language (ASL) classes. She was enrolled in a class with a professor who was deaf and had a cochlear implant. After one semester, Ashley changed her undergraduate major to Communication Sciences and Disorders. 
 

With  specializations in diagnostics, hearing aids, and aural rehabilitation for adults, Dr. Ashley Marcus  follows the medical model of treating hearing loss, which includes early intervention and counseling. Dr. Marcus strives to educate her patients on their hearing loss, forming a treatment plan unique to each patient’s needs, helping them to rediscover hearing.

DR. ELIKA COKELY, Au.D.

Dr. Elika Cokely earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD).

 

Coming from a family of audiologists, with both parents as audiology professors, Dr. Cokely grew up immersed in the field, spending much of her childhood in clinics. Her passion for audiology was shaped by this early exposure, fostering a deep understanding of hearing healthcare.

 

Dr. Cokely specializes in diagnostics, hearing aids, and aural rehabilitation for adults, following the medical model of treating hearing loss through early intervention and counseling. She is dedicated to educating her patients about their hearing health and creating personalized treatment plans that help them rediscover the joy of sound.
